President’s Message

Greetings Randall Hawk Families!

First off, thank you for everyone’s patience, positive feedback, ideas and support at the beginning of the school year as our Administration worked hard to ensure the safety of our children. It was a learning experience for all involved. Special thanks to Ms. Mawhinney, for keeping us informed through emails, parent links and texts.

I am also very grateful for everyone’s safe return from Hurricane Irma. My heart goes out to those who were less fortunate and have suffered damages, injuries and loss of loved ones during the past few weeks. For those of you who helped fellow

neighbors and surrounding communities…Parents, Students, Principals, Faculty, Teachers, Businesses, Clubs, and Military… a million “Thanks” for your generosity! I am proud to live in a community with such a big heart.

The PTSA will hold a Texting & Driving Program this year to help remind us how important it is to keep our eyes on the road. It will include a portion for students to help them understand the importance of not texting while walking, biking, skateboarding, etc. Watch for date and time.

The PTSA Newsletter is packed with information for upcoming programs and educational information for our families to stay informed. Please feel free to contact me through the PTSA website with any questions or ideas you would like to share with us. www.RandallPTSA.org. Thank you for all your support!
